Schools reopen after vacation

SCHOOLS AND colleges re-opened on Saturday after the summer vacations. Students of various schools could be spotted on roads and once again the traffic problems could be witnessed. Children seemed to be cheerful on their first day in school after the summer vacation. They were glad to see their friends. In government primary schools, the attendance was poor but on the contrary, good strength could be seen in English medium schools in the city.

In government primary schools, the attendance was poor but on the contrary, good strength could be seen in English medium schools in the city. The parents started their old exercise of dropping their wards to school after two months.

Basic Shiksha Adhikari has directed the government school teachers to launch a ‘School Chalo’ drive in the first two weeks of July.
