A gun fight broke out between security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning, police said.
"Firing exchanges are going on in Puchal village of Pulwama district," a police officer said.
The battle site is 1 km away from the air force base at Koil village, 31 km from Srinagar.
