A FIVE-DAY mega get together will be held on the eve of Ujjain Simhastha at Dharawara Dham, Dhar Road. Several eminent saints, intellectuals and speakers will highlight noble values by giving the example of important characters in the Ramcharit Manas. The meet will be held under the directions of Mahant Ghanshyamdas Maharaj.

The meet will be held under the directions of Mahant Ghanshyamdas Maharaj.

Organizing committee members Ramesh Mendola, Satyanarayan Rathi, Gopal Nyati and Dr Vijay Jhaver in a press release informed that State PWD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya would inaugurate the meet on March 31. The inaugural function will be presided over by Depalpur MLA Manoj Patel.

Jagadguru Ramnandacharya Swami Rambhadracharya from Chitrakoot (UP) will address the gathering on Wednesday. Mahant Gangadas Maharaj Jagannath Puri (Orissa) will also be present during the function. The highlight of the meet will be the special discourse by Kankeshwari Devi on April 4. Chief Minister Uma Bharati is also expected to be present during the discourses by Kankeshwari Devi.

Bhajans will be sung daily from 8 pm onwards. The organizing committee will felicitate renowned ‘Ramayan Mandals’ of the Indore region too. Lions Club of Indore Professional and Indore Eye Hospital will be holding a mega eye check up on April 3 as part of the meet.
