Addressing an election rally here last night, Thackeray said the Shiv Sena had stopped fighting for the rights of Marathi man and it was MNS which had taken up the cudgels to fight injustice to which the "Bhoomiputras' were subjected with exodus from outside states.

Both Congress-NCP and Sena-BJP saffron alliance had betrayed the voters and should be kept away from power in the ensuing assembly elections, he said.

Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi told reporters that MNS factor would prove to be inconsequential in the elections as the saffron alliance was confident of securing a majority in the polls.
