Sensex ends at all-time high of 13,091.12 pts

Similarly, the Nifty gained 24.15 points at 3,791.20. It moved between 3,805.50 and 3,761.90 points during the session.

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index on Thursday closed at an all-time high of 13,091.12 points on the back of strong rally in Reliance Industries and other heavyweight stocks that saw sustained buying by funds.

The Sensex, which rose by over 71 points in previous trading, rose further by 58.08 points at 13,091.12 after touching an all time intra-day high of 13,137.74.

Similarly, the wide-based Nifty index on the National Stock Exchange gained 24.15 points at 3,791.20. It moved between 3,805.50 and 3,761.90 points during the session.

Reliance Industries continued an upward march for yet another session on sizeable buying by funds and retail investors, triggered by favourable corporate reports and finished Rs 19.40 higher at Rs 1283.60 after touching an all time high of Rs 1,298.50.

Other prominent gainers were ONGC, Larsen and Toubro, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Udyog and other leading auto stocks.
