Shair special issue on Shafiqua Farhat

URDU LITERARY magazine Shair has brought out a special issue featuring eminent Urdu satirist Dr Shafiqua Farhat. Apart from her own selected writings, the issue includes articles by litterateurs on the contribution of Shafiqua Farhat to the Urdu literature.

Prominent citizens congratulated Farhat at a gathering in the State capital on Wednesday. They recalled her contribution to Urdu humour and satire.

Resident Editor Hindustan Times Askari H Zaidi, Professor Zamiruddin, former minister Savita Vajpayee, Najeeb Ramish, Nusrat Bano Ruhi, AR Khan were among those present. Shair is a prestigious Urdu magazine, which is published from Mumbai.
