Shibulal to succeed Gopalakrishnan as Infosys CEO?
Will SD Shibulal, the present chief operating officer of Infosys be appointed as the chief executive officer of IT bellwether Infosys on April 30 — when the company’s board meets to find a successor to NR Narayana Murthy? Well, speculations are rife that there is a strong possibility of this decision that could be announced on that day itself.

In fact, as Shibulal takes over as the next chief executive officer (CEO), Gopalakrishnan, the present CEO is believed to take over as co-chairman of the company.
The company’s management remains tight lipped on the broad agenda of the board meetingon that day. “I cannot comment on the agenda of the board meeting,” S Gopalakrishnan, CEO and managing director, Infosys told Hindustan Times.
Shibulal is strongly tipped to take over the top role at the software firm especially after Murthy has himself supported his elevation.
