The minister said he had been told the serial bomb blasts seemed to have the imprint of the Indian Mujahideen but quickly added: "Let us wait for the investigation report".

Shinde -- who was planning to visit Patna -- may instead send a team led by home secretary Anil Goswami and National Investigation Agency chief Sharad Kumar. Sources said the change in plan was being contemplated in view of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar's call to the New Delhi, indicating that Kumar would be in Delhi the day after.

Shinde already had two engagements at the Central Reserve Police Force and the National Security Guard in and around Delhi for Tuesday.
