Shocking disclosure: Raped minor 4-month pregnant

Terror of the accused Pradip, who runs a big general merchant shop at Alamnagar Kanak City, and his brother Rajesh, who is a confidante of jailed land mafia Lallu Yadav, could be gauged with the fact that the victim and her father could not muster courage to lodge an information with the police.

Terror of the accused Pradip, who runs a big general merchant shop at Alamnagar Kanak City, and his brother Rajesh, who is a confidante of jailed land mafia Lallu Yadav, could be gauged with the fact that the victim and her father could not muster courage to lodge an information with the police.
The victim’s father, a vegetable vendor and resident of the same locality, mustered courage to go to the police after he came to know on Monday that his daughter was pregnant. He had taken the girl to a nearby doctor where a nurse examined her and confirmed that she was about four-month pregnant. Shocked over the development the vendor took his daughter and reached the local police station. But, Pradip too had come to know about the development and he along with his elder brother accompanied by other goons intercepted the victim and her father near the police station.
Pradip and Rajesh issued life threats to the man if he informed the police. They took the father-daughter duo forcibly back to home. However, the man somehow managed to reach the SSP’s camp office on Tuesday evening and narrated the incident before SSP GK Goswami.
Recalling the incident, the man said that his daughter was alone in the house along with her younger sister in March. He could not recollect the exact date.
He further said that Pradip, whose shop is located in front of victim’s house, found appropriate chance to enter the house. He gave some money to his younger daughter and sent her out of the house.
Pradip initially lured the 14-year-old girl for physical relation and later pounced upon her when she turned down his proposal. Bolting the doors from inside, Pradip assaulted the girl and outraged her modesty issuing her life threats.
The girl was kept lying unconscious injured till her younger sister returned home.
The victim somehow opened the door and went straight to her father. She narrated the entire episode. Her father later went to Pradip and inquired about the incident. As the accused started hurling expletives at the victim’s father and threatened him with dire consequences, the latter went to Pradip’s elder brother Rajesh to lodge a complaint.
But, Rajesh too threatened victim’s father and warned him to forget about the rape incident and not to go to the police if he did not want to face the music.
The man had no option but to keep quiet as Pradip and Rajesh had sent some local goons too at his house to threaten him.
