For years, Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films has been toying with the idea of remaking

with the Khan brothers – Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan playing Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor respectively.
David Dhawan is supposed to direct it.
Dates alloted Salman has finally agreed to allot his dates but has asked for Rs 50 crore. Taurani laughs that off though, and says, "You know in the media anyone can circulate any price. This has become a a practice."
He insists that the project is on. He starts shooting from early next year.
