Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Indore will organise a ‘Mr Singh’ and ‘Miss Kaur’ contest for Sikh community youth aged between 18 years to 25 years at Mata Gujari College campus, A B Road on, January 28.
Circle state president Sardar Pritam Singh Chabda said that the eligibility to take part in the contest, the participant should be unmarried and good-looking and the candidate must be residing in Indore district.
The winners would be presented with the cash prizes of Rs 5100, Rs 3100 to the first runner up and Rs 2100 to the second runner up and gift hampers. The contest would be held in four rounds and the questions related to the Sikh religion would be asked in the contest.
The semi-final round for short listing the candidates would be organised on, January 22. Punjabi folk dance and dramas would also be presented at the programme.
The application forms are available at the Mata Gujari Girls’ College between 10 am to 1pm. The last date for submitting the forms is January 18. For more details one could contact with Dilraj Kaur and Tarjeet Singh.
