Should you be sitting?
Well, of course! We're members of the parliamentary standing committee.
My point exactly. Shouldn't you be standing? And some of you should be walking.
Are you insinuating that we should be leaving the committee?
I am not insinuating. Some of you like Amar Singh and Lalu Prasad have charges against you. Should you be part of a team that's trying to look at the best possible Lokpal Bill to be sent to Parliament?
Well, you do know that you set a chief to catch a chief.
So you mean to say that because you know the tricks of the trade, you are better equipped for the job to create an anti-corruption law than honest men?
Hang on. Anti-corruption law? Who said anything about an anti-corruption law?! We are here to ensure that Parliament's safe from anarchy.
And the lokpal?
Well, I'm not running for it but if the people want me to be the lokpal I must do my extra-parliamentary duty.
Do say: This CD isn't fake. It's just a remix collection.
Don't say: I will have to recuse myself from the committee.
