Six children succumbed to brain fever at Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur during past 24 hours, say the officials.

Six children succumbed to brain fever at Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur during past 24 hours, official sources said on Tuesday.
At least 154 patients are undergoing treatment in BRD Medical College hospital and adjoining district hospitals, they said.
The head of the department of paediatrics, VK Rathi said the death toll has mounted to 226 since January this year.
