Six killed, eight injured in Vadodara road mishaps

Six persons, including three BJP workers, were killed and eight others injured in two separate road mishaps.

Six persons, including three BJP workers, were killed and eight others injured in two separate road mishaps in Anand district of Gujarat on Wednesday, police said.

Three persons were killed and four injured when a car they were travelling in hit a road divider on the Expressway near Anand. All the victims were BJP workers, police said.

In another mishap, three persons were killed while four others severely injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a state transport bus on Borsad-Vasad road.

Two of the deceased were women, police said adding that all the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Borsad.
