A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale tonight occured in the Myanmar-India border region, according to the India Meteorological Department.
It said the tremor, which took place at 23.56 hours IST was epicentred at latitude 23.5 degrees North and longitude 94.5 degrees East.
