Sonia convenes Congress-allies meet to finalise CMP

The Congress chief has convened a meet of United Progressive Alliance tonight to give final touches to the Common Minimum Programme.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has convened a meeting of her party's allies on Sunday night to give final touches to the Common Minimum Programme (CMP), a draft of which was circulated among them on Friday last.

The meeting at her residence will be followed by a dinner hosted by Sonia, sources said.
