Congress president Sonia Gandhi will make a two-day visit to her Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency from June 17, party leaders said on Tuesday.

Congress spokesman Akhilesh Pratap Singh said this would be Gandhi's first visit to Rae Bareli since she won by-elections from the constituency by a record margin last month.

Gandhi had earlier quit as the MP from Rae Bareli after she was accused by the opposition of holding an office of profit by being chairperson of the National Advisory Council.
