Pop superstar Britney Spears, who is expecting her second child, wants to spend $1,200 for a chandelier for her new baby's room.

According to newsweek.com, Spears or some prankster pretending to be her - has registered online for thousands of dollars worth of baby gifts at Petit Tresor, an expensive Los Angeles store.

A source said: "Oh, it's not a fake, she's having a baby shower soon and has told friends that they can order gifts from the site. It's not like she's expecting her friends to buy everything for the baby. She's already spent like $30,000 at the store."

Spears is rumoured to be expecting a girl and the chandelier features airplanes. There is a lot of pink in the other things.
