The stadium that has been organising number of events for last couple of months saw no activities since mid-June. The camps of various games for preparation of national games were completed in the mid-June.

After the selection trials of wushu, no other camp was organised. The department will organise wushu camp for selected players from July 15. Besides, the department has also decided to organise camps of handball and karate. However, the date has yet to be confirmed.

This is for the first time that the department has taken the initiative to organise camps of games that is to be organised in national games. The department has given due importance to the games in which state has the expectations of medals. Wushu is one of them. Wushu coach Manoj Gupta claimed that the State would be able to win ten medals in wushu in different categories.

After the success of first orientation programme organised for the newly recruited coaches in Gwalior, the department will organise the second edition in Bhopal from July 15. More than 100 coaches are to participate in the orientation programme.

In the programmes, various important aspects, including personality development, group discussions, lectures and other basic information will be imparted to the participants. The camp will end on August 1.
