The first Southern Regional Summit of Young Indians, a part of Confederation of Indian Industry, would be held in Coimbatore on July 14.
The two day summit, with a theme "India on the rise, sustaining the momentum through young Indians," would provide a platform for like-minded to come together and share their thoughts on subjects relevant to sustaining the country's growth, chairman of the Summit Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu told reporters on Tuesday evening.
The summit would attempt to identify opportunities that can influence the rise of India in a positive manner, the socio-economic challenges and find solution to tackle the issues besides discussing the role of young Indians in ensuring India's growth momentum, Sanjay said.
Some of the best speakers and achievers in various fields such as environment, economy and education, would share their thoughts, Ashwin Chandran, Chairman, Young Indians, Coimbatore chapter said.
