St Thomas, SOS Village win opening matches

ST THOMAS Convent School and SOS Village won the inaugural matches played today in the St Thomas Cup Football Tournament being organised in the City.
In the first one-sided tie, SOS Village trounced Queen’s Mary School 5-0. The SOS dominated the match from the start of the match. The team scored two goals in ten minutes play of the first half. The brilliant show by Joy and Jitendra made the SOS team 5-0 winner. Joy and Jitendra scored three and two goals respectively.
The second match of the day saw St Thomas School team dominating Ideal School. Such was the splendid performance from St Thomas team that they won the match 9-0. Ashiv, Arpit and Lalit contributed to the victory.
