Expressing concern over spurt in the incidents of abduction in Chambal region, Ajay Singh said the BJP Government in the State was lax in bringing Gadaria brothers and his gang members to the book.

He said abduction of eight bus passengers by the gang at a place in Sheopur district, which is just six km from police station, amounted to cocking a snook at law & order in the State.

Singh said the successive chief ministers in the BJP regime only bothered to save their chair rather than doing anything to resolve the pressing problems in the State like dacoits’ menace in Chambal region.

Besides, there have been incidents of dacoities in urban areas like Indore and Chhindwara as well. He urged the Chief Minister to get over felicitation functions, lunches and dinners and take stock of law & order situation in the State before it goes out of hands.
