State leaders mourn Kanshi Ram?s death

STATE ASSEMBLY Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, deputy Speaker Hazarilal Raghuvanshi, leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Jamuna Devi and others today mourned the death of BSP founder Kanshi Ram.

Describing him as a leader who always fought for the rights of dalits, Rohani said that Kanshi Ram has had a profound influence on the course of post-Independence Indian politics.

The State units of the Gondwana Ganatantra Party and the Rashtriya Samanata Dal also mourned the death of Kanshi Ram who passed away on Sunday.

GGP State organising secretary Dr C L Vanshkar said that the party deeply mourned the death of the dalit leader and a condolence meeting was organised at the party office wherein the president of State GGP Gulzar Singh Markam, State convener N R Bhuarya, senior vice-president Dr B L Burman, vice-president K S Ahake and organising secretary Dr Vanshkar paid their tributes to the departed soul.

A condolence meeting was organised at the State office of the Rashtriya Samanata Dal to pay tributes to the late Kanshi Ram.

State president Sukhlal Kushwaha while speaking on occasion that the backward classes and exploited people of the country would always remember Kanshi Ram.

Bhopal district president Gangasagar Yadav, Mahila Morcha president Nisha Singh Patel, students’ wing leader Vikram Singh Kushwaha and others were present.
