GEOFFREY’S, THE pub-cum-restaurant chain, opened its first franchisee in State at the Treasure Island mall in the City on Friday. Geoffrey’s will serve multi-cuisine food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The CEO of MRK Foods (franchisee for Geoffrey’s in Indore) Manisha Kalani, while talking to media, said that Geoffrey’s will be the finest pub in Indore with the right entertainment and dining options available and will be ideal for business meetings, social gatherings and celebrations. The whole emphasis is on pub culture where one gets different kinds of drinks, snacks and salads, she added. The pub will also have ‘happy hours’ where the customers will get one drink free with every paid drink.
The theme and décor at Geoffrey is inspired by the old British era charm and stresses on relaxed ambience with a blend of fun and frolic.
The décor is complete with a traditional island bar, conventional timber and leather chairs, wooden flooring and original artwork. The restaurant has a seating capacity of 85 guests and features big plasma TV screens.
Geoffrey’s unit head Probhashish Sanyal said, “The music at Geoffrey’s features the best of rock and retro. Geoffrey’s offers a fine selection of scotch, malts, and wines combined with exotic international and Indian cuisine. We have a very strong service team, which has been trained for serving alcoholic beverages where servers know which wine would go with what food. Here, server and captain will help the guest in selecting the drinks.”
Saturday nights will feature compact vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals to facilitate late night guests. Geoffrey’s the pub brand is owned and operated by Sarovar Hotels Pvt Ltd. Geoffrey’s now has 11 branches across the country.
