Sting op: VCDs to be sent to CFL

On the other hand, the inquiry committee has also directed editors of the TV channels telecasting the CDs to appear before it on May 10.

On February 15, under the title ‘Neta Bikta Hai’, two channels had levelled charges of corruption against former State minister Mehboob Ali, BSP MLA Somaru Ram and BJP MLA Anil Kumar Verma. A committee has been constituted to probe the matter raised by the TV channels after the matter was taken up in the Vidhan Sabha. The committee will meet on May 10 and 11 in which, apart from the editors of CNN -IBN, representatives of another agency ‘DIG’ too have been directed to be present.
