The burglars had recently stuck at an office in Malviya Nagar and looted a computer, a laptop and computer-related paraphernalia belonging to the complainant, Jaideep.

During investigation police suspected involvement of the employees of the office and checked their cell phone records. One of them, Sanjay Sharma, claimed that he was somewhere else on the particular day but his cell phone record suggested otherwise.

After interrogation he finally confessed his involvement. The accused told police that he committed the burglary along with his friend, Akram, in whose car he came to the office on September 19.

The duo broke the lock of the office and took away the laptop and the computer apart from other goods. The stolen goods have been recovered and both the accused arrested.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man was arrested for trying to sell a stolen laptop. The accused, Ramprakash Pandey, 20, resident of Aish Bagh, was trying to sell the laptop for just Rs 5,000.
