Sudha Murthy to be honoured with Devi Ahilyabai award

The award, instituted by Shri Ahilotsav Samiti, carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh, a shawl and a citation, Samiti chairperson and BJP MP Sumitra Mahajan said.

Murthy, the wife of Infosys Chairman Narayan Murthy, has done a commendable job through her Infosys Foundation in the healthcare sector, especially in backward areas, she added.
