Summer vacations for all the educational institutions up to higher secondary level, including recognised private schools falling in summer zone of the Jammu division, will be closed from June 13 to July 27.

Summer vacations for all the educational institutions up to higher secondary level, including recognised private schools falling in summer zone of the Jammu division, will be closed from June 13 to July 27.

As per the government order circulated on Sunday, consequent upon five-day reduction in usual summer vacation period of 50 days, there will be an equivalent increase in winter vacations of the summer zone schools of the Jammu division.

The order further said that any default on part of private schools in observance of the calendar of summer vacations will attract action under rules.
