Haque, a degree third year law student and a resident of Laban locality in Shillong, would be produced before the court later on Friday, IG (special branch) SB Singh said.

Singh said investigation was on to ascertain whether he has any links with terrorist groups like Indian Mujahhideen.

The police said Haque confessed to have sent the email to local newspapers here, threatening to eliminate Advani during his visit to Shillong on September 29.
