Suspected Maoists shot dead two men at Khunti's Jaranga village, the police said today.

Armed men last night went to the village and shot dead Rameshwar Munda and Digamber Munda, the deputy superintendent of police Anil Shankar told newsmen in Khunti.

He claimed that the Munda's had been with the firing squad of the CPI (Maoist) before snapping relations with the outfit.
