India's popular tele-guru Baba Ramdev has said he would like to hold yoga training camps in Pakistan and other parts of the world to help people in improving their health.

"After holding many yoga camps across India, I plan to hold camps abroad and Pakistan may be my first choice," Ramdev said.

"I am told many people in Pakistan watch my yoga programme on TV and love to practice yoga for health," he said.

Ramdev said a survey conducted by a Chandigarh-based newspaper had revealed that he was more popular in Pakistan than film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan were.

"All this encourages me to spread yoga in Pakistan."

Ramdev said he was keen to spread yoga outside India.

"Till date I have not crossed the border, but I will do so to teach yoga to people across the world after April," he said.

The spiritual leader has been holding a seven-day yoga training camp in this Bihar capital from Sunday, drawing large number of participants.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has accorded him the unprecedented status of a state guest.
