A man died of swine flu at the civil hospital in Nashik, taking the toll in the viral infection in the city to 16, hospital authorities said on Tuesday.

Madhav Mandlik was admitted to the Nashik Civil hospital four days back after he showed symptoms of the virus, they said, adding he later tested positive for the viral infection. Mandlik, also a diabetic patient, died on Sunday night, they said.

Presently, 25 patients are being treated in the hospital out of which four of them have tested positive for the virus.
