Senior TDP legislators Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, M Narasimhulu and others met State Chief Electoral Officer, Bhanwarlal, in Hyderabad on Saturday evening and submitted a petition against Jagan following attack on Naidu's road show at Lingala on Saturday.

They sought a tough action from the EC.

In a separate statement, TDP politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Parliamentary Party leader Nama Nageswara Rao and former Home Minister T Devender Goud condemned the attack on Chandrababu Naidu's convoy, saying that Jagan was resorting to such acts only out of the fear of losing the by-election.

"Jagan is trying to spread his family's violent culture across the state and grab power. He has no regard for democracy," they said.
