Primary teachers have been staging continuous dharna at BSA office since last two weeks but education officials had failed to take any initiative to resolve the deadlock.
Meanwhile, district president of UP Primary Teachers Association Bhaktraj Ram Tripathi expressed his apprehension that the peaceful dharna could turn violent, if the apathetic attitude of education officials continued. He reiterated that dharna would continue till redresser of their demands and block wise the primary teachers would participate in the dharna.
Shridhar Mishra, Narendra Pratap Singh and Ram Nagina Shahi claimed that it was the government order that promotion of the teachers should be made first and then they should be transferred. But BSA Sanjeev Singh transferred 600 teachers in remote areas violating all norms and even tortured the teachers by stopping their salaries.
It is noteworthy that primary teachers have not received their salaries for the month of October 06 as BSA has signing the pay slips of the teachers.
