Nagesh had gone missing two days ago, police said.

On Thursday, his body was recovered from the abandoned Shyamgarh fort in Nirmal town, 260 km from Hyderabad,. Turmeric powder, vermillion and other materials required for tantric rites were found at the site. Police have arrested one Raju, a man known to the family, who confessed to selling the boy to a gang seeking hidden treasure for Rs 20,000.
