Telecom service providers asked to restore connectivity

Chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday asked all the private mobile companies operating in J&K to restore connectivity in the state at the earliest.

Chief minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday asked all the private mobile companies operating in J&K to restore connectivity in the state at the earliest.

He was interacting with the representatives of BSNL, Vodafone, Idea, Reliance and Aircel companies here on Thursday afternoon.

He asked the representatives of these companies to furnish the power restoration requirement to the government so that optimum power supply is provided to them.

Meanwhile, a delegation of fruit growers met the chief minister seeking immediate assessment of the damage to fruit and sought his intervention in facilitating suitable and early transportation of fruits outside the state mandis.

Minister for horticulture Raman Bhalla and minister of state for health and medical education Nazir Gurezi were also present on the occasion.
