Reiterating his party's stand of `consensus or court verdict' on the contentious Ayodhya issue, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu today said he had no knowledge of the speculation that the temple issue would be included in NDA agenda.

"I have no knowledge about inclusion of the temple issue in NDA manifesto but we have been very clear that the matter should be solved either by mutual consensus or by abiding by court verdict", Naidu told reporters here.

When asked if TDP was consulted on the NDA manifesto and the proposed inclusion of temple issue in it, Naidu replied in the negative and also hinted that such a thing "may not be acceptable to TDP".

"There was no consultation with TDP on the temple issue and there is no change in our stand regarding contentious agenda", Naidu said but did not give a direct answer on what his party's stand would be if majority of NDA partners agree to the inclusion of Ayodhya in the manifesto.

"Majority coming to an agreement is different from having a consensus on the issue", he said adding temple issue should be solved only through consensus but `cannot be imposed on others'.
