Terrorist hideout busted in J&K's Doda district

After receiving a tipoff, security forces recovered arms and ammunition beside a large quantity of wheat and rice.

Security forces busted a terrorist hideout at Banihal in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Some arms and ammunition were recovered beside a large quantity of wheat and rice, official sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, security forces smashed the terrorist hideout at Akharan, some 11 km west of Banihal, on Tuesday evening, the sources said.

Thirty rounds of AK ammunition and two hand grenades with Pakistani markings were recovered from the hideout apart from 100 kilograms of wheat, 150 kilograms of rice and 100 litres of kerosene oil.
