One of the oldest schools in Gurgaon, DAV Public School prides itself on having an educational philosophy that blends Indian tradition with western knowledge.

“We strive hard to strike a balance between the two (east and the west) and give the best of both worlds to our students,” said principal Anita Makkar. “We believe that the vedas have time-tested truths and it is important for students to know them, and at the same time we have the best research practices such as the curriculum research centre, which make the process of teaching and learning dynamic.”

Classrooms are equipped with ‘smart’ boards and audio-visual aids.

Academics are a strong point, with the school topping in the ‘academic rigour’ parameter.
