The number 13 has a strange political history in West Bengal. It was in 1964 that CPI(M) was born and the party came to power 13 years later.
Following a similar numerical history, Trinamool Congress is all set to rule West Bengal after 13 years of its formation in the year 1998.
The day when Trinamool Congress stormed the red citadel is 13.05.2011 -- the numbers add up to a total of 13.
To top it all her campaign theme -- maa, mati, manush -- has 13 letters.
