Noted theatre artist Alakhnandan died here on Sunday following prolonged illness.

Alakhnandan was not keeping well for quite sometime and today his condition deteriorated further and he breathed his last, family sources said.
Alakhnandan's associates said he was facing a problem in breathing for last few days and was on oxygen support.
Alakhnandan's troupe 'Nat-Bundele' performed many memorable plays including 'Chanda Bedni', 'Charpai' and 'Bhagvaddujjakam'.
He was recently awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.
Madhya Pradesh governor Ram Naresh Yadav, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, culture minister Laxmikant Sharma and Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh among others condoled his death.
