Three killed in road mishap in Vadodara

Three persons including a woman were killed and one injured after the car they were traveling in collided with a state transport bus on Sama-Savli road on the outskirts of the city today, police said.

Three persons including a woman were killed and one injured after the car they were traveling in collided with a state transport bus on Sama-Savli road on the outskirts of the city today, police said.

The accident took place when the bus driver took a turn to avoid collission with another vehicle, they said.

The deceased were identified as Sachin Patel, Tarun Thakkar and Rashmi Thakkar while Suresh Thakkar was injured and later shifted to nearby hospital, they said.

A case has been booked against the bus driver who escaped from the scene, they said adding that further investigation in the case was on.
