Three MP IAS officers selected for PM award for Excellence

Three IAS officers from Madhya Pradesh have been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister's Award for Excellence.

Three IAS officers from Madhya Pradesh have been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister's Award for Excellence.

The three officials who would be honoured with the award at a function in New Delhi on April 21 to mark the Civil Services Day are O P Rawat, Sanjay Dubey and Gulshan Bamra.

Rawat who is Additional Chief Secretary now will get the award for 'Implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006,' when he was Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare with the M P government.

Sanjay Dubey who is working as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority will get the award for 'Removal of encroachments of structures of different religions - maintaing communal harmony in Madhya Pradesh'.

Gulshan Bamra who is presently Collector for Jabalpur will get the award for 'Involvement of community under National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in naxalite-affected areas in Madhya Pradesh.
