Three NRIs charged with immigration offenses

The NRIs have been remanded in custody on the charges possessing fake documents, unlawful entry, obtaining leave to remain in Britain by deception.

Three NRIs, including two women, have been charged with immigration related offences in London, the Metropolitan Police said on saturday.

Jatinder Kumar Sharma, 43, was charged with obtaining leave to remain in Britain by deception and possessing a false identity document.

Neelam Sharma, 37, was charged with assisting unlawful entry, whereas, Rakhi Shahi, 30, was charged with obtaining leave to remain in UK by deception.

All three appeared at Ealing Magistrate's Court where they were remanded in custody.
