Tom Hanks wants to shoot in Bahamas

The Angels and Demons actor who stars in the movie prequel to 2006’s The Da Vinci Code, which was based on the novel by Dan Brown is so keen to shoot on the idyllic islands he has asked Dan to set his latest work there.

Tom joked: “He won’t tell me where the action takes place, I keep giving him hints. Nothing wrong with an adventure in the Bahamas!”



The 52-year-old star added he is open to reprising his role as Professor Robert Langdon, an expert in religious iconography, but only if the mystery is as good as the previous instalments.

: “If it makes sense I’ll be happy to. It doesn’t come down to where it takes place or what the character is.



It really comes down to. Is it going to examine a theme that’s going to be worthy of making another movie?”
