Agriculture loss alone would come to around Rs 182 crore, he told reporters after cabinet meeting.

Government had sanctioned Rs 25 crore for immediate relief operations, he said, adding this was in addition to Rs 38 crore already spent for relief works.

A total of 101 persons lost their lives in rain related incidents since the monsoon set in the state on May 26, he added.

It was decided to extend assistance to fishermen who lost their equipment and small traders, he said, and added that District Collectors had been asked to assess the damage suffered by them.

A compensation of Rs one lakh would be given to those who lost houses, he said.
