Apropos of the report Haneef and Sabeel charged (July 15), the State must seek ways to prevent Indians from entering the terror network. Nothing should tarnish India’s reputation in the eyes of the world.

II

Kafeel and Sabeel are not the first Indian Muslim terrorists. They have only exposed the canard, deliberately perpetuated by pseudo-secularists, that Indian Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism. The fact is that not one terrorist act in India would have been successful without their involvement.

Clarification

In my article Twice as good (July 15) on Shankar-Jaikishan, the song ‘Suhani raat dhal chuki’ from Dulari has been wrongly credited to Shankar-Jaikishan. It was composed by Naushad. The error is regretted.
