Two criminals shot dead
Two wanted criminals were killed in an encounter with police in Bhagwat village in Kaushambi, says the police.

Two wanted criminals were killed in an encounter with police in Bhagwat village in Kaushambi, police said on Tuesday.
The encounter took place on Monday night. A number of cases of loot, extortion and murder were pending against the two identified as Badaiya and Gulab Kungda.
A foreign-made and a country-made pistol besides a number of cartridges were recovered from their possession.
