Two foreign tourists were killed in a road accident near Mavingudi in Sirsi today, police said.

The deceased were identified as 56-year-old Bernard from Germany and Maxen (69), a US national.

The tourists were seriously injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling hit an obstruction on the roadside. They died en route to a hospital, police said.
