Police claimed to have recovered Rs 6,00,000 meant to be "delivered to militants in the district to carry on subversive activities."

"The two persons were arrested by police when one was giving money to the other for distribution," said a police official of the district.

The official said the two persons were not militants but their brothers were in Pakistan arranging money for the militant outfit.

"While one is a labourer, other is an electrician," the officer said. The police ruled out possibility of busting any major hawala money network through the duo.
